Job DescriptionGrand Canyon University has an opening for Adjunct APRN faculty members, and we invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our APRN students.

This adjunct PRN position requires travel to the Main GCU campus, to directly observe student performance, when attending the PEDS and OB Skills station event.

Availability is needed for the occasional Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays for two hours of your choice.

Not every Thursday, Friday, or Saturday is needed. Flexible scheduling available, on a PRN basis. We will give you plenty of advance notice.

What you will do:

Lead a skills station, as the student demand arisesMaintain compliance with requirements for program accreditationUphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the UniversityParticipate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the communityProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What you need:

Master's Degree and board certification preferred.Applicants with an FNP, ACNP, or Physician's Assistant required.Active, unencumbered, and current license/board certification required.Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in APRN/ Physician's Assistant level PEDS or OB Required.Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.Successfully pass a drug screenProficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format.Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
