Responsibilities
This position assists with planning coordination scheduling and conducting various healthcare-related educational and training programs. The incumbent participates daily in the operations of an American Heart Association training center for the provision of Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses and/or other advanced level healthcare programs and provides direct coordination and/or instruction in various other courses and programs offered by Dignity Health.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or education
A minimum of 3 years experience as healthcare clinician in a clinical care setting (required). 1-year experience in training or education
Current California licensure and/or certification as an RN LVN RT EMT Paramedic Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse and/or any other appropriate allied healthcare provider designation is required
Instructor certifications in courses such ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPR, and other programs offered by Dignity Health may be required but must be obtained before providing instruction in the discipline.
Special skills required include: excellent reading and writing abilities; the ability to comprehend and apply complex mathematical problems; compute rates ratios percent and to develop and interpret bar graphs; and good analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:Training in and/or working knowledge of software programs such as Windows and Office Suite (preferred).
Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist preferred or equivalent simulation experience
