This is an open-ended pool whereby applicants interested in part-time instruction for the School of Computing Sciences and Computer Engineering may apply. Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty assist with the delivery of undergraduate courses within the School.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Instruction of courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats
+ Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner
+ Assessment of student learning outcomes
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in a discipline related to computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or cybersecurity.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ The ability to deliver accurate, concise, and quality communication (verbal and written) in timely manner.
+ The ability to work collaboratively with other faculty in the unit.
+ The ability to navigate and use learning management systems for teaching, such as Canvas
+ Proficiency in teaching strategies and techniques for diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success in teaching at the university level
Experience with the Canvas learning management system
