Touro University's Graduate School of Technology seeks a knowledgeable and dynamic instructor for a web development course. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in web application development, particularly with technologies like Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, and in building RESTful APIs. Responsibilities include delivering a curriculum that covers principles, design, and implementation, using case studies and projects to provide hands-on experience. The instructor will prepare students to tackle real-world challenges in security, scalability, and service quality, equipping them to deploy robust web applications across diverse business environments.

Responsibilities Teach a minimum of one graduate level coursesPrepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handoutsBe prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student dataSupport students’ learning goals by:Focusing on student learning outcomesTaking into account the needs and abilities of the studentsBecoming familiar with academic and social supportMaking reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differencesMaintaining the academic integrity of the collegeMaking himself/herself available to assist student in achieving their learning goals Qualifications

Education/ Experience

Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree) Previous collegiate teaching experience recommended

Physical Demands

Use of a computer Need to sit or stand for 3-hour class

Travel
