**Job Overview**
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking an **Adjunct Instructor - PA Anatomy Cadaver Lab** for Fall 2025, with opportunity for annual renewal.
Expected Hours of Work: Wednesday and Thursday 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with human anatomy dissection labs
+ Provide hands-on guidance to PA students while ensuring a safe and educational learning environment
+ Work closely with PA Anatomy faculty who will offer supervision and instruction for human cadaver dissections
+ Review relevant dissection guides and videos prior to dissections and learn the anatomy of the human body, including relevant anatomical terms
+ Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's _Mission_
**Position Skills and Abilities:**
+ Demonstrated mastery of human anatomy
+ Ability to perform dissection and maintenance of human cadavers with patience and determination
+ Ability to safely manipulate cadavers, chisels, hammers, and electric autopsy saws when necessary
+ Maintain a safe working environment in cadaver labs with appropriate collection and disposal of biological specimens
+ Ability to adapt and apply laboratory methods and procedures under the direction of the lab instructor
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the biological sciences, anatomy, or a related field or equivalent experience
+ Knowledge of, and commitment to, the university's philosophy, mission and core values
+ Prior experience with human anatomy dissection is strongly preferred
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and guide students in the lab
+ Strong commitment to student safety and adherence to laboratory protocols
