Job Description
The Texas A&M University Doctor of Physical Therapy program occasionally has openings for part-time adjunct instructors appointed on a per semester basis. Applying for a part-time teaching appointment in Doctor of Physical Therapy adds applicants to a pool which is available to the department for selection as needed for Spring 2026 – Spring 2028.
Minimum educational requirements for graduate level courses: Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution.
Duties: Required to facilitate immersive labs or teach Anatomy, Ethics, Foundational Skills, Rural and Underserved Populations, Human and exercise physiology, Evidence-based practice, Neuroscience, Movement Science, Rural Business Models, Rural Community Health Promotion and Wellness, Therapeutic Exercise, Clinical Medicine (includes Pharmacology, Radiology and Pathology), Clinical Diagnostics, Cardiopulmonary, Assistive Technologies (includes Prosthetics and Orthotics), Musculoskeletal (includes spine, lower extremity or upper extremity), Integumentary, Geriatrics, Pain Science, Modalities, Interprofessional Education, Neurorehabilitation, Pediatrics, Primary Care course(s) in one or more of the following modalities: hybrid or online or immersive on campus labs . Courses may be conducted as an 8-week term, or 16-week term. Must coordinate course administrative duties such as, but not limited to, grading student work, loading all course content, such as assessments and lecture modules, meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner, meeting census and grade deadlines, and additional administrative duties as needed.

Compensation: Commensurate.
