Job Title: Adjuncts - Adjuncts for CFP Certificate program- Spring 2024 Campus: Florham Campus, Madison, NJ Department: Accounting, Tax & Law Department-Florham Hiring Manager: Ron West Hiring Manager Title: Chair - Accounting, Taxation & Law College: Silberman College Position Type: Faculty Grade: Adjunct FLSA: Exempt Faculty Rank: Adjunct Faculty Salary: Commensurate with experience Status: No Response Months Worked: No Response Job Summary: Adjunct instructors to teach in-person (not Zoom) for a new CFP Certificate program slated to start in January at a financial firm. The program is a CFP Board registered program.Program consists of seven financial planning subject courses: General Principals, Income Tax Planning, Estate and Gift Planning, Retirement Planning, Risk Management and Insurance, Investment Planning, and the Capstone course.Each course meets once a week, starts at 6 pm, and is made up of 12 sessions (meetings). Location is nearby FDU in Florham, NJ. Required Qualifications: Person should hold CFP with relevant professional experience in the field. Alternatively, have MBA or JD with a focus on course teaching, or some higher degree or relevant professional certification(s) in the subject area to be taught, AND relevant professional experience.
