Job Title: Admin/AP Assistant

*This is an On-Site, Second Shift position located in Syracuse, NY*

Job Description

The Admin Assistant will ensure OTIF goals by actively engaging in order fulfillment, document preparation, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures. The role involves notifying others of warehouse concerns to increase productivity, improve service, decrease or avoid costs, and identifying areas where they can assist in resolving concerns. The Admin Assistant will work in an effort of continuous improvement, utilizing self IDPs and reviews to guide their direction of growth as well as meet the organization's expectations for the role.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure OTIF goals by actively engaging in order fulfillment, document preparation, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures.Notify others of warehouse concerns to increase productivity, improve service, decrease or avoid costs, and begin to identify areas where you can assist in resolving concerns.Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics

•\tTrack finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours

•\tPurchase parts and safety supplies

•\tMaintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports

•\tMonth end accruals and reporting

•\tProcess personnel changes and maintain files

Gain competence in standard operations within all areas of Administration to support Inventory, Systems, Office, and the overall distribution functions.Cover and/or ensure breaks, lunches, and other staffing needs of the Administration Group.Communicate effectively between shifts, departments, and other sites as needed.Essential SkillsData entryClerical skillsExperience with purchase ordersExperience preparing documentationHigh level of communicationAccounts PayableAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrevious customer service experience highly preferredPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50
