Job Description

Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

From some of the most vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis, claimants and commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates efficiently.


Our public sector client is recruiting for an Admin Officer on a temporary basis, based in G2 close to the city centre offering a great working environment. You will seek to resolve customer queries at the first point of contact where possible and use your brilliant communication skills to handle sometimes complex but rewarding conversations. This is a customer facing role where we are looking for you to be the point of contact for all face to face and admin queries.
You will join a friendly and welcoming department.

Admin Officer
Salary: £11.59 per hour increasing to £11.88 after 12 weeks
Contract: Temporary (minimum 3 months, expected longer)
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 37 hours - full-time
Start date ASAP

Requirements:

Right-to-work in the UK
Clear DBS minimum
3 Year referenceable Work History

Some experience is needed; however you will receive training and plenty of support to help you do the job, duties may include:

Dealing with court users face to face
Dealing with Judiciary face to face
General Admin duties
Receipting and dispatching of bundles
Data entry
Preparation of courts
Working on appeals
