Admin Officer / Court Usher:

Location: Norwich Combined Court - Fully Office Based
Salary: £11.59 An Hour
Working hours: FULL TIME: Monday - Friday 9am - 5PM (37hrs a week)

If you're seeking an engaging opportunity to work within the Public Sector, we have an opportunity for you! Our Public Sector Client situated at HMCTS Norwich Combined Court are looking for an Admin Officer to join their team on a Full Time Temporary basis. As a vital member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the seamless running of the general organisation. The successful candidate will be required to carry out Court Usher duties in addition to the Administrative Officer role and will be trained in both. As a Court Usher, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all court users involved in hearings. Your responsibilities extend to supporting the administrative staff, ensuring the smooth flow of court proceedings. This role involves direct interaction with members of the public, who may be experiencing anxiety or distress during their court visits.
This is a Temporary position, however, is very likely to be extended.
Interviews will be conducted in-person at the Court House.

Key Responsibilities:

Progress Cases through the Court/Tribunal system and provide support to other functions in HMCTSProblem Solving. You will refer to problem solving hubs and comprehensive guidelines to support with thisInputting Data onto the systemStrong customer focus and service skills.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Taking inbound and Outbound Calls - dealing with Customer and Judiciary enquiriesPreparing PapersCreating and updating recordsEmail correspondenceGeneral Administration DutiesBooking, preparing and organising meeting roomsAbility to react quickly and professionally when needed.Comfortable dealing with sensitivity and professionalism, catering to individuals from all walks of life, some of whom may be vulnerable and under stress.



Requirements:

Previous experience in AdministrationFluent in Microsoft platforms and previous experience managing an inbox.Exceptional communication skillsGood computer skills overallAbility to Manage high case loadStrong organisational and time-management abilities.Good attention to detailThe ability to adapt to changeExceptional Customer Service
