Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital

Full-Time (37.5 Hours)

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Administration team at Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital. You will work delivering exceptional standards of administration support across the variety of departments within the Hospital.

This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and Governance Lead, including managing calendars and scheduling meetings.
•    Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
•    Organize and maintain files and records, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
•    Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
•    Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team and Governance Lead.
•    Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
•    Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team and Governance Lead.
•    Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring the office is well-organized and functional.
•    Support the Head of Clinical Services and Governance Lead in monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures.
•    Assist in the organization of company events and meetings.

What you'll bring with you:
•    Proven experience as an administrative assistant or PA, preferably in a corporate or healthcare setting.
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•    Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands.

Desirable:
•    Previous experience supporting senior leadership teams.
•    Knowledge of governance and compliance processes.
•    Experience in project management.
