Administration Director Job Details Job Location Sacramento - Sacramento, CA Position Type Full Time Salary Range $105,000.00 - $105,000.00 Salary Job Category Education Description POSITION SUMMARYResponsible to supervise and oversee the Finance, Food Services, IT, Maintenance, Property,Purchasing, Student Records and Wellness departments/functions. Ensures all areas of oversightare compliant with DOL/Company policy to ensure effective and cost-saving budget/resourcemanagement and accountability of Center assets and funds. Serves as Centers lead integrityofficer responsible to audit and ensure programmatic compliance with DOL/Company policy.Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISIONSupervises and manages the Finance & Administration Departments. May serve as Acting CenterDirector in the Center Directors absence. RESPONSIBILITIESo Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.o Manages and controls Center resources to ensure cost effectiveness and contractual compliance.o Develops Centers operational budget to meet program objectives.o Provides oversight and control of capital funding and expenditures, coordinates financialmanagement activities with Director Team and accurately reports financial activities to theGovernment and the Company per policies and procedures.o Oversees the procurement activities for the Center, with direct responsibility for development,management and administration of subcontracts.o Develops and manages Center administrative policies, procedures and services that areefficient and support student and staff performance through planning, staffing, scheduling,evaluation and budget control.o Oversees Center programmatic and financial integrity, audits, reviews and compliance,ensuring that there is no manipulation of student data nor abuse or misuse of contract fundsor assets.o Ensures effective maintenance and appearance of the facilities through establishment ofeffective PM and corrective maintenance systems, weekly conduct of CTST/MaintenanceCoordination activities and timely acquisition and utilization of capital funds.o Fills staff vacancies in a timely manner. Effectively motivates, empowers and requires staff toperform his/her job responsibilities. Employs sound time-management and delegation skills.Holds staff accountable for producing quality work, develops staff for career progression anddisciplines staff that fail to meet goals.o Provides required/supplemental training for new and current employees.o Motivates and manages staff to work effectively, creates a supportive work environment,recognizes staff accomplishments and proactively addresses staff performance concerns.o Develops Center beneficial linkages within the community for education, employment, CareerTechnical Training and WBL. Promotes a positive image of the Center and Job Corps andestablishes meaningful relationships with elected officials.o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.o Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions andbehavior.o Provides services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs aremet. Pursues improvement and enhancement of requisite services.o Exchanges ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner andcontributes meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Providesquality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested.o Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas. Identifies problems, analyzes causes and evaluatesappropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensureprompt/appropriate action is needed and that problems are in fact corrected.o Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision andservices are provided to students.o Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director to include assignments totemporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.o Other duties as assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelors degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of five years managementexperience with a substantial experience in finance/budgeting.
