The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls and directing calls to the appropriate individuals and departments as needed. The individual will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization and coordinate the on-site mailing needs for the location.
This role is responsible for greeting customers, visitors, and guests, determining the purpose of visit and directing or escorting individuals to the appropriate location. The role answers, accurately screens, and directs phone calls to individuals/related departments, taking messages and/or scheduling appointments. Related duties include receiving incoming mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items to individuals and departments on-site. In addition, the role supports office administrative and clerical support tasks, filing and recordkeeping, and other duties as assigned by Office Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for greeting and managing front desk visitors and coordinating related visitor needs on-site.
· Responsible for answering, screening and managing incoming call flow; messaging and directing callers to appropriate department or individual.
· Manage and facilitate all site incoming and outgoing mailing needs including USPS, courier, and related package distribution for front office ensuring deliveries and communications to individual or department.
· Support office and clerical/administrative support tasks including filing, recordkeeping, customer communication support and other duties as assigned by Office Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Current use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Outlook Email in a proficient manner.
· Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
· Exceptional communication skills including interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Superior organization skills and dedication to completing tasks in a timely manner.
· Capable of passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
