What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll act as a critical utility player, assisting with a variety of tasks across different departments. Key responsibilities include: + Logistics Support: Upload invoices using logistics software, ensure accurate documentation (W4s, emails, etc.), and provide training to others on using software as needed. + Daily Production Reports: Manage reports from production plants when the primary staff member is unavailable. + Procurement Support: Receive and process product deliveries, ensuring accurate system entries and matching invoices for vendor payments. + Sales Support: Perform data entry tasks to assist the sales department. + General Office Assistance: Approach ad hoc tasks using strong problem-solving skills and common sense—this team values independent thinkers who get the job done! Requirements include: Technical Skills: + Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level, primarily data entry). + Familiarity with accounting software (Sage) and logistics software is ideal. + Comfort with Microsoft Outlook. Soft Skills: + Strong work ethic and self-sufficiency. + Ability to adapt to different environments—whether it’s working with the loud, energetic logistics team or asking questions to clarify details from the production crew. + A proactive problem-solver who doesn’t stop at roadblocks and seeks solutions independently. + Strong communication skills—you’re not afraid to speak up when something doesn’t make sense! + Bonus Points: Experience in a similar administrative or logistics role in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
