Administrative and Commercial Assistant

YOUR JOURNEY AT BRP

The sales administrative assistant will be a support for the Country Manager for BRP Norway AS including working closely with the commercial teams in Norway and Europe.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Ensuring administrative support on sales & marketing responsibilities:

● Provide administrative support to the Country Manager by doing the pre-accounting of all incoming invoices (SAP) and keep track of all upcoming costs, invoices and possible savings for all related cost centers. Operate independently and pro-actively to resolve routine or day-to-day requests from colleagues and BRP dealer network.
● Provide support to the Trondheim office by managing the incoming mail, phone calls, office and kitchen supplies and directing requests to the appropriate people in the assigned departments for resolution or feedback
● Handle customs clearance for imported goods. 
● Be the point of contact for suppliers of company cars, demo units, insurance, accounting and payroll and office landlord.
● Be the administrator for Altinn, Autosys and OFV statistics and handle requests from authorities and record management. 
● Support the year end and budget process by keeping track of all upcoming costs, invoices and possible savings for all sales related cost centers in cooperation with the finance department.
● Assist and coordinate the practical organization of local events and other activities 
● Distribute communication to the dealer network (dealers, clients, prospects): such as bulletins and newsletter preparation (preparation, proof reading and distribution)
● Support manager with travel and expense arrangements
● Evaluate office & administrative processes and pro-actively propose and subsequently implement improvements in collaboration with other team members


YOUR COMPETENCIES TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

● Experience of several years in a commercial office environment. 
● Excellent communication skills: oral and written
● Very good knowledge of Norwegian and English is a must
● Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Experience in SAP, Autosys, Altinn, Google Workspace is a big plus
