Breaking Ground's programs and services help people experiencing street homelessness - especially those who have been on the streets the longest - to come indoors. Through our Street to Home outreach program and transitional housing resources, we help people get, and stay, on the path to a permanent home. Reporting to the Leasing Director, the Administrative Assistant, Seasonal Help provides temporary administrative support for the Leasing and Compliance teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES: + Provide administrative support with new building lotteries + Provide administrative support with buildings’ waitlist applications + Organize files + Help with follow up to waitlist applicants + Answer phones and direct calls + Attend meeting and take notes + Perform other related duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + High school diploma or equivalent + Minimum of two years of experience in administrative support or related position + Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills + Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team + Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously + Must have exceptional written and verbal skills + Must have strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled Other details + Pay Type Hourly + Min Hiring Rate $20.00 + Max Hiring Rate $20.00 Apply Now + 520 8th Ave, New York, NY 10018, USA
