In this impactful role, you will be a vital part of ensuring the efficient management of personal protective equipment inventory, contributing directly to public health and safety efforts across the Commonwealth. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be at the heart of our warehouse operations, supporting the seamless flow of inventory. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the receiving, storage, packing, and shipping of PPE inventory. You will act as a key liaison, working closely with Commonwealth agencies, vendors, and the public to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will assist in tracking inventory, analyzing trends, and preparing important reports to support the Warehouse Manager in making informed decisions. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist in special projects and contribute to ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and procedures. Whether responding to emergency needs or maintaining day-to-day operations, your work will directly impact our ability to serve the community effectively. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment. + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. + Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of 44,890.00 (before taxes). + You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: + You must be willing and able to commute to Mechanicsburg, PA. + You must have at least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse or completing administrative duties to support warehouse operations. + You must have at least 1 year of experience in customer service. + You must be able to perform essential job functions.
