Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has a contingent opening for an Administrative Assistant position that will be based out of Melbourne, FL.
The Administrative Assistant provides a critical role in providing the organizational and administrative support required for effective Program Management Office operations.
The Administrative Assistant serves a critical role in coordinating and managing the program and leadership schedule and outreach, meeting arrangements, documentation, and projects. The ideal candidate is experienced, pro-active and highly detailed oriented, with strong communications skills and a knack for relationship building at all levels. This position requires the Administrative Assistant to perform advanced administrative duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Strong integrity is essential, and the candidate must be comfortable working in a high energy, collaborative, diverse, professional environment.
Roles and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Provide administrative support to multiple personnel in a fast-paced environmentManage and maintain multiple personnel and conference room Outlook calendarsEnsure appropriate meeting preparations are made (coordination of call in number, meeting materials available and printed if required, catering requests, etc…) for both internal and external meetingsOrders and maintains office supply inventory for program teamsFacilitates program meetings, executive meetings, and customer visits.Produces and edits correspondence and presentations; assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.Independently coordinates and manages a variety of administrative projectsSchedules meetings internally and externally; coordinates & reserves offsite locations for large events, arranges catering and manages all integration required for program reviewsBuilds successful working relationships with a diverse group of internal employees and external customersWrites and distributes email, correspondence memos, letters and forms as requiredTeam member on-boarding and off-boardingFacility and infrastructure planning and provisioningLead and execute the development, implementation and enhancement of organization operating policies, processes and proceduresWorks on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsOperates independently to meet requirements of leadership team and offers expertise to assist other functions within organizationSuccessful candidates will have the following key attributes:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s DegreeActive DoD Secret clearance that has been granted or reissued in the last 5 years or is currently enrolled in continuous evaluationSpecial Program Access (SAP)Ability to exercise discretion and respect confidentiality concerning employee information and company recordsMust possess a high level of initiative and ability to effectively handle multiple tasksAbility to work well independently with minimal daily direction, as well as part of a teamMust be customer focus oriented; previous experience with government customers is a plusMust be able to work amicably with a diverse work force and respect differing opinionsSalary Range: $47,000.00 - $78,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
