Posting Summary Rutgers University-Camden School of Faculty Arts & Sciences seeks an Administrative Assistant in the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology. This position provides administrative support for assigned unit/department(s) within FASC. Plans, organizes, executes, and coordinates office procedures and routines. Performs diversified and confidential administrative duties that require judgment in the resolution of routine administrative processing issues and in the selection of the proper procedures to employ. Performs professional work that requires knowledge of general administrative/office management practices including email, telephone, filing, faxing, data entry, spreadsheet creation, report generation. This position is responsible for providing complex administrative support and customer-oriented services with the expectation that specific duties may shift depending on departmental need. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week 37.5 Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date.
