Administrative Assistant

In this role, the Administrative Assistant will provide crucial support to Cancer Research Training and Coordination (CRTEC), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Core (BBC) initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Advanced Calendar Management: Skilled in coordinating complex schedules for various initiatives. Document Preparation: Proficient in preparing and formatting diverse documents. Meeting Organization: Capable of efficiently organizing meetings, including logistics, catering, and note taking. Travel Coordination: Experienced in arranging travel and managing related expenses. Supply Management: Adept at monitoring and ordering necessary supplies. Student and Community Liaison: Effective communicator with students and marginalized community members, addressing training and program queries. Printing/Photocopying Proficiency: Efficient in handling document production and dissemination. Interdepartmental Coordination: Competent in liaising with various administrative sectors. Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in English, Arabic, and Spanish for diverse communication is preferred. Microsoft Office Expertise: Skilled in using office software for data management and presentation preparation. Adaptable Project Coordination: Flexible and able to support diverse projects within CRTEC, DEI, and BBC. ChatGPT Proficiency: Skilled in using ChatGPT for drafting emails, summarizing notes, and conducting research to enhance administrative efficiency in support of CRTEC, DEI, and BBC initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

 

Required:

 

High School Diploma

Minimum four years of clerical experience

 

Preferred: 

 

Associates Degree
