Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Kensington, Maryland. The job function lies within the industry and involves providing administrative support to our team, ensuring efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities: • Answering inbound and outbound calls, responding to customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner. • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer issues and ensuring effective resolution. • Accurately entering data into the company system and maintaining up-to-date customer records. • Handling email correspondence professionally and promptly. • Utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. • Scheduling appointments and meetings, ensuring efficient time management. • Taking on various office tasks to support the team, contributing to a cooperative working environment. • Resolving administrative problems by analyzing information and identifying solutions. • Maintaining supply inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies and placing orders. • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint • Experience with data entry and maintaining databases • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building • Excellent email correspondence skills, ensuring clear and professional communication • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently • Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proven problem-solving abilities and initiative in decision-making • High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information.
