Administrative Assistant
Description We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector in Akron, Ohio. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be in charge of conducting chart reviews, making client satisfaction survey calls, monitoring the completion of required documentation, and entering discharge summaries into the clinical records, among other tasks. Responsibilities: • Conducting chart reviews for quality assurance purposes. • Making client satisfaction survey calls to gather feedback and improve our services. • Monitoring and ensuring the completion of required documentation from clinicians. • Accurately entering discharge summaries into the clinical records. • Collecting data and generating reports as needed. • Taking meeting minutes during department meetings to ensure information is accurately recorded and disseminated. • Answering general referral questions to assess appropriateness for intake. • Requesting and following up on documentation for client records. • Ordering supplies and resources for the Behavioral Health department. • Utilizing skills in Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Inbound Outbound Calls, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Report Generation, and Meeting Minutes. Requirements • Proficient in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Ability to manage email correspondence, responding promptly and professionally to internal and external communications • Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data processing and analysis • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for scheduling, task management, and email communication • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word for document creation, editing, and formatting • Capable of generating reports, summarizing data, and presenting information in a clear, concise manner • Experience in recording meeting minutes, capturing key points, and distributing them to relevant parties.
