Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Strategy and Growth organization. The selected candidate will provide office management and executive administrative support to the Vice President and Leadership Team. This position will be located in Falls Church VA. This role requires full time onsite support; remote or teleworking will not be considered for this role.

Position Overview
In this position you will work closely with senior executives, customers and government representatives, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations/customers; the ability to protect and maintain confidentiality; and the ability to execute tasks and projects independently. To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
High school diploma and a minimum of 6 years' experience in the administrative professional field or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience in the administrative professional fieldAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) to maintain calendars, coordinate meetings and compose briefings, reports, correspondence and memorandumAbility to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively at all levels within the organization while protecting and maintaining confidentialityAbility to assess priorities and manage multiple administrative tasksProficiency in business and travel expense system (Concur or similar)Experience in planning and providing logistical support for meetings and eventsAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needPreferred Qualifications:

This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
Salary Range: $30.67 - $51.11The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
