Administrative Assistant
Description We are in search of a diligent Administrative Assistant to join our team in BRONX, New York. This role involves a range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, handling calls, scheduling meetings, data entry, and translation during IEP meetings. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally • Schedule appointments and meetings, optimizing time management and ensuring smooth workflow • Execute data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy, maintaining the integrity of our information systems • Welcome guests professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to effectively perform job duties • Translate during meetings when necessary, ensuring clear communication across diverse groups • Execute filing tasks to ensure documents are stored properly and can be easily retrieved • Handle email correspondence professionally, ensuring all communications are timely and accurate • Support the Special Education Department with any additional tasks as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Experience with answering inbound and outbound calls • Strong customer service skills • Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail • Familiarity with email correspondence and its best practices • Experience in scheduling appointments effectively • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically • detail oriented demeanor and positive attitude • High level of discretion and judgment in handling confidential information • Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools as needed.
