Description Administrative Assistant (Academic Coach) We are offering an employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the education industry, based in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will be involved in guiding students to achieve their academic potential, fostering a love for learning, and making a positive impact on their lives. Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one academic coaching sessions to high school students, addressing individual learning needs and goals. • Assist students in developing effective study techniques, note-taking methods, and organizational skills to optimize their learning process. • Work with students to set realistic academic goals and create action plans to achieve those goals. • Provide guidance and clarification on subject-specific concepts, assignments, and projects across various disciplines. • Teach students how to manage their time efficiently and balance academic commitments with extracurricular activities. • Utilize online platforms to schedule appointments, conduct virtual coaching sessions, and share resources that support students' academic growth. • Regularly assess students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback. • Coordinate and communicate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to students' academic success. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within the education industry • Proficiency in inventory tracking and managing a multi-line phone system • Experience in coordinating schedules and managing daily operations • Familiarity with conducting exit surveys and handling inbound calls • Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to resolve customer service issues • Exceptional skills in administrative office tasks and back office support • Basic office skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information • Associates degree OR 48 college credits required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
