Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Legal industry. The role involves providing administrative support within a legal environment, with a focus on customer service, data entry, and document management. This is a short term contract employment opportunity, that requires on-site presence. Responsibilities • Handle high volume inbound calls and provide excellent customer service to clients. • Assist in the client intake process, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and processed. • Obtain and manage medical records from clients, ensuring that all data is accurately recorded and stored. • Assist clients with the completion of applications for Social Security disability. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various administrative tasks. • Schedule appointments and manage client correspondence via email. • Ensure all client data and interactions are accurately entered and updated in the database. • Address and resolve client inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses. • Maintain a detail oriented and efficient workplace, adhering to the business casual dress code. • Perform other administrative duties as required, in order to support the smooth operation of the legal office. Requirements • Possess strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word. • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls. • Proven customer service skills. • Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. • Experience in email correspondence. • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars. • Experience in client intake, including gathering and recording client information. • Legal industry experience preferred, specifically in an administrative role. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Legal administrative assistant certification or related training is preferred.
