Description Position: Sr. Purchasing Agent (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity) Location: Onsite, Alameda, CA Schedule: Full-time, In-Person, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Purchasing Agent to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role will support the Procurement team in sourcing materials and services, managing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, and providing exceptional service to internal requestors. Key Responsibilities: + Purchase Order Processing: Review, prepare, and process purchase orders; ensure compliance with policies and procedures. + Vendor Management: Maintain effective communication, ensure policy compliance, and work with Procurement on competitive pricing and quality. + Customer Service: Provide updates to requestors and expedite orders to meet project timelines. + Document Management: Keep organized records of transactions, purchase orders, and payments. + General Support: Assist with receiving, shipment coordination, and any additional procurement-related tasks. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential.
