SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team supporting a contract at the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, providing administrative support in a cleared environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides administrative duties such as - records management, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, tracking staff actions. Experience working independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials. Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior staff and departments within the Pentagon.Manage and coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings.Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Maintain and organize files, records, and documentation.Assist in the planning and execution of events and meetings.Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a high-security environment, preferably supporting the DOD.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with managing and developing SharePoint pages.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.High level of professionalism and discretion.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Must have an active Top-Secret clearance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and supervise activities for extended periods.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is subject to both indoor office envrionments and outdoor environments with varying weather and temperatures.ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
