Our client, a leading logistics company in Avenel, NJ, is seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing exceptional support to both staff and clients. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative tasks to support the office, including data entry, email correspondence, and document management.Respond to and prioritize emails in a timely and professional manner.Provide seamless administrative support to staff and clients, ensuring smooth operations across departments.Assist with scheduling, filing, and other office duties as needed.Skills and Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other office software.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Schedule and Compensation:
Shift: Sunday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays (9:00/10:00 AM – 7:00 PM)Hourly pay: $19.00 per hour
