Our client, a large distribution center in Hayward, CA is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and energetic Inventory & Office Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including processing daily driver paperwork, assisting with HR tasks, managing inventory controls, handling reports, and providing support to management in various operations.
This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with benefits available once hired permanently.
Key Responsibilities:
File both digital and hard copies of all paperwork (pick tickets, manifests, route sheets).Process route manifests and attached signatures into Eclipse (distribution management software).Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.Assist HR with new hire orientations and temporary employee paperwork.Enter new employee information into the timekeeping system and manually input timesheets every Monday morning.Help with cycle counts and conduct daily row counts to ensure inventory accuracy.Assist in researching the Change Order Report.Prepare and process all CODs collected, ensuring they are accurate.Collect and log daily coupons received and ship them to corporate weekly.Assist management with credit card reconciliations and other financial tasks.Help with receiving incoming products into the Eclipse system when needed.Qualifications:
Experience with distribution or supply chain management software (Eclipse preferred).Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).Energetic, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.Prior forklift experience and forklift certification required.High school diploma required, along with previous work experience in an administrative or similar role.Strong understanding of confidentiality, particularly with HR-related documents.Pay and Shift:
Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Pay: $22.00 per hour
