Administrative Assistant

      

Provides secretarial and administrative support to the department and/or members of management. Partners with manager(s) to ensure successful accomplishment of management responsibilities and objectives. Responsibilities include handling communications, maintaining calendars, and coordinating travel, meetings, and presentations. Supports projects, administration of various programs, and/or processing functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Organizes and coordinates schedules by maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings, conferences, presentations, and other meeting arrangementsCoordinates various travel arrangements and itinerariesHandles telephone calls and responds to information requestsEnsures efficient record retrieval by maintaining filing systems and recordsPerforms routine administrative duties such as filing, maintaining office supplies, and processing mailPrepares or coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects typically of a routine natureSupports projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as needed


Required Job Qualifications

0-3 years of experience; previous administrative/secretarial experience desiredBusiness computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn quicklyAbility to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptionsAbility to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $19.41 - $26.26 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions.
