Responsibilities SCOPE OF WORK: Provides administrative support requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of education, training policies, practices, procedures and the use of multi-media tools. Reports to the Corporate Director of Education. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for administration, maintenance, scheduling, tracking, and reporting to the Education Department. Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: employee/applicant records, employee grades, payroll deductions for education, instructor and class schedules, instructor evaluations, apprenticeships, development and maintenance of online programming and portals. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Uses Gaylor Performance Values as tools to carry out all job responsibilities. Works independently to perform advanced, diversified, and complex administrative duties. Strong application knowledge of multi-media tools and techniques. Participates in the development of Company policies and procedures as well as assigned special projects. Prepares statistical reports as requested. Maintains all necessary records and files for reporting and audit purposes. Handles routine inquiries/situations through direct interpersonal action or refers to the appropriate individual. Prepares, composes, and initiates correspondence, memoranda, presentation materials, and reports. Compiles and distributes class schedules, program descriptions, and instructor evaluations. May serve as liaison with the community or other external agencies with regard to Company/ Department activities, programs, and needs. Organizes and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines. Answers telephone calls, takes messages, provides information, and redirects calls as appropriate. Assists in the design of multi-media programs and content delivery. Receives and directs visitors as requested. Provides appropriate communications and promotes understanding of instructor orientation, company programs, policies, and educational benefits. Arranges meetings and conferences as directed. Maintains employee/department records, files, documentation, etc. Maintains the confidentiality of all department information. WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work scheduled hours as well as overtime, as required, on short notice. Must work well with others as a member of a team to complete tasks. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers. Possess good vision/hearing (normal or corrected). EDUCATION: Associate degree required or equivalent studies/experience. EXPERIENCE: Previous media experience. Strong administrative, computer, organization and communication skills required.
