Your Opportunity

Your Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to Team Leads (TL), Project Managers (PM) and engineering professionals including but not limited to the preparation and editing of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other documents. Contribute to the research and information gathering for key clients, as needed when needed. Maintain project files Operate project document control system as directed for specific projects Assist with project filing and document control (hard and electronic) Assist in project financial setup, maintenance and invoicing Assist with the preparation for meetings, presentations, reserving conference rooms, coordinating refreshments, collecting and compiling documents, recording meeting minutes, drafting correspondence, etc. Assist the Team Lead, Project Manager and engineering professional in the preparation and issuance of project proposals, reports, tender documents, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules Assist Team Lead, Project Manager in preparation of project work plans Use project scheduling and control tools to assist Project Manager in monitoring projects schedules Assist in research and purchase of equipment, PPE, as well as coordinating safety training as required. Attend required team and client project meetings Ensure all required project close out documents are obtained and coordinate changes between professional engineers Your Capabilities and Credentials Strong English language skills and excellent writing skills. Strong attention to detail including ability to proofread and edit material. A versatile individual with advanced formatting skills using various software including Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. The ability to work well in a team environment with a strong sense of professionalism, tact and confidentiality. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, superior organizational and time-management skills, take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Confidence in interacting with all levels of management and internal clients. Ability to gather information from a variety of sources and assemble into a professional document. Education and Experience Post-secondary education Prior experience in a similar role within consulting

Additional Information Salary Range(s): Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby) Min Pay Range: BC Other Areas $44,300 Max Pay Range: BC Other Areas $59,800 Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
