Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This Administrative Assistant role undertakes general administrative duties which include but are not limited to calendar management, expenses, and interacting with colleagues.

We will count on you to:

Compiles administrative information by researching sources, improves administrative job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.

Maintains office operations by assigning priorities, delegating tasks to clerical staff, following up on results, establishing office supply inventory levels, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and evaluating new systems and equipment. Maintains continuity of administrative work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities; and determining continuing needs.

Manages calendars and expenses, schedules meetings, resolves scheduling conflicts, organizes department social functions, and arranges travel for the department to optimize work performance.

Handle confidential information for higher-level internal and external inquiries to support customer satisfaction and communication.

What you need to have:

High school diploma or equivalent

5+ years of Administrative Assistant experience supporting at least two C-Suite Executives

Strong communication skills, well-organized, team player, collaborative, proactive, and attention to detail

Proficient in MS Office

The applicable base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
