Job Summary
Responsible for a wide range of administrative and clerical support to assigned departments. Functions involve the preparation of various reports, the analysis of reports with recommended actions, and the supervision and/or monitoring of work activities within the group, department, or office. Duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Supports the manager by maintaining records, files, reports, and other documentation required for operations.
Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities for all members of the department.
Master the creation, management, and utilization of database templates. Expertly produce general correspondence, polished memos, and professional business documents.
Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate corrections.
Provide standard and specialized reports for the manager using a variety of documents and files.
Provide feedback to management that will assist in the improvement of operations.
Involve a high degree of interaction with other departments, both internal and external.
Ensure all documents associated with activities are complete and accurate.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Nature and Scope
Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
Education and Experience
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of various business technologies, including Microsoft Office, along with strong technical documentation skills.
Must have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Associate's degree with administrative skills from a business school preferred.
Self Starter with excellent organizational & communication skills.
