Administrative Assistant
Our client is based in Downtown Vancouver and is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to their team for a long-term contract. The Administrator will work directly with employees requesting information about their extended care and benefits packages. This may include requests for personal, medical and a variety of leave requests. Providing information and responding to questions from employees regarding benefits and leave requests requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to process a high volume of paperwork. This process is very manual. Please note that this is not an HR position, the successful candidate will be a strong administrator with excellent customer service skills.

Benefits & Perks:Annual salary $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.3 weeks vacation.Full benefits after probation.
Responsibilities:Respond to employee requests and questions.Interprets and administers the annual leave program.Maintains and updates employee files and database.Makes approval and denial decisions based on relevant information.Ensures compliance and privacy are maintained.Administers general communications.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or Administration.2 years of experience in administration.Customer service and the ability to de-escalate and diffuse challenging situations.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Attention to detail, and accurate data entry skills.
