Administrative Assistant performs secretarial duties, record keeping functions, administrative detail and follow-up functions for Administration. Accountable for the administrative aspects of contracts and the Medical Staff organization. Full time position.
Responsibilities:
• Assists the Administrative team in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and performing administrative procedures for the hospital.
• Composes, types, and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.
• Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.
• Schedules/coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements.
• Oversees and completes all initial credentialing and reappointment processes for Medical Staff.
• Schedules Medical Staff and committee meetings; including agendas, materials, notices, documentation, minutes, attendance and follow-up.
• Submit requests for new contracts, requests contract renewals and monitors expiration dates of contracts
