Administrative Assistant

Essential Functions/Job Duties & Responsibilities:  Strives to achieve our Safety Vision of “No One Gets Hurt”.  Works to prevent injuries and accidents; follows all procedures relegated to injuries and accidents if one should occur. Reports child injuries and hazards promptly to the Lead Teacher.  Reports suspected child abuse or neglect to local child protective agency or abuse hotline as mandated by state law.  Ensures accuracy and timely collection of accounts receivable in accordance with company policies and procedures, including third party if applicable.  Tracks accounts and follows up with appropriate people for unpaid accounts.  Assists with P-Card reconciliation, reconciles receipts weekly, and compiles report monthly.  Monitor, collect and tally Federal Food count sheets.  Assists with data entry and various projects as assigned.  Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers by greeting visitors/parents and monitoring visitor access.  Files correspondence and other records.  Is able to showcase school/classroom offerings and conduct school tours if necessary.  Answers telephone and provides information to callers or routes call to appropriate individual and places outgoing calls.  Enrolls children and enters data on computer.  Responsible for the children’s files and follow up with families on any missing items.  Responsible for the collecting, reviewing for accuracy and maintaining attendance sheets.  Other related duties as assigned by management.  Regular attendance is expected and required.  Responsible for daily cleaning duties which include sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash.  Performs other related duties as requested by a member of management, and may be asked to work in classrooms when needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ($21-$23/hourly) based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
