Job Description

The Administrative Assistant provides support in achievement of planning, organization, and task execution to enable focus on strategy that advances the company’s objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle disbursement of incoming and outgoing mail and packagesResponsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipmentResponsible for processing vendor invoices and expenses related to roleHandle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maintains confidentialityAssists other Administrators and departments with workload and special projectsResponsibilities include greeting clients at the front desk and answering phones, administering programs, and meeting planningWhere assigned, manage calendars and coordinates meetings, occasionally across multiple time zonesOther duties as assigned

This role is expected to work onsite in Red Wing, MN 3-4 days per week to accomplish operational needs, with the remainder of work eligible to be performed remotely.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in a related area or role; Associate’s degree or Administrative Professional Certification a plus. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft office products or similar platforms to create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Experience working in a customer service role.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: (8-10 POINTS)

Working knowledge of office management systems and proceduresStrong administrative skill profile exhibiting a high level of professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to organize work and manage time effectively.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication including the ability to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of employees and external customers. Capable of handling and appropriately prioritizing requests from multiple sources, in a timely manner. Resourceful and demonstrates an elevated level of independence and initiative to resolve issues.Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential material.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, office and conference room equipment, and the ability to learn and become proficient at using other technology tools as required.
