Reporting Relationship: Divisional Youth Secretaries

Salary and Grade:  77 Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

Manage the hiring paperwork for our Summer Camp staff, process inter-department paperwork such as invoices, process the department’s payroll, take minutes during department meetings.

Responsibilities

Description of Position: 

This position takes on a lot of organizational tasks, especially involving the hiring paperwork for Camp Ladore. Serves as the main communication point for people who need help with CampMinder software. Organizes housing for Youth Department events at Ladore.

Requirements:  

Be able to relocate to Camp Ladore in Waymart, PA for the months of June, July, and AugustHighly organizedRelentless problem-solverAble to show initiative on tackling the next thing on the list/calendarChild Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks prior to employment: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check along with renewals every five years.Must have an understanding of and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
