Administrative Assistant
Description We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Los Angeles, California. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be expected to collaborate with the team, manage data, maintain project files, and prepare materials for meetings. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Collaborate effectively with the project team • Organize and manage data efficiently • Maintain updated tracking systems and project files • Prepare comprehensive meeting materials, including reports, notes, presentations, and agendas • Input information accurately into the database Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative assistance or a related field. • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Proven track record of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion. • Experience with database management and basic bookkeeping. • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred. • Experience working in a non-profit organization is an asset. • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector.
