Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Bedford, MA, is seeking a temporary administrative Specialist to join their team! This role is onsite in Bedford, approximately 4 months for duration, full time hours Monday through Friday, and paying between $32-34/hr, depending on experience. Essential Functions
Primary responsibility is to complete all activities related to the onboarding and offboarding of employees partnering with HR, Health and Safety, IT, Security and hiring managers to process requests including but not limited to office space, supplies, IT equipment, business systems access, and system license requests (i.e., DocuSign).Plans and executes quarterly Onboarding Workshop.Working with the hiring managers to generate on-boarding agendas and schedules to meet and greet new team members, key stakeholders, and ensure initial training requirements are provided and Strengths Finder session is planned.Ensure office space, as relevant, is ready. May include organizing orientation luncheon for hiring department to welcome new team member(s).Update and maintain accurate distribution lists and organizational charts across the Technical Operations and Quality teams reflective of ongoing changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, exits).Partner with HR organization to ensure employee data is complete and accurate (e.g. department, title, persona) for the organization related to new hires, internal promotions or transfers and departures. Ensure HR business system updates are reflective in in a timely mannerSite Manager for Tech OpsCoordinates team wellness challenges and colleague events in support of the Tech Ops cultureMay perform ad hoc projects as requiredManages highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion; ensures sensitive information is secure and kept confidential.
Typical Minimum Skills and Experience and Education
High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree or higher preferred.Two years working in an Administrative or Human Resources role preferred
