Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The primary function of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Fleet Operations Department. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to manage various administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations within the department.

ResponsibilitiesProvide complete administrative support services for the Fleet Operations Department.Coordinate vehicle plates and stickers, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with all state and federal regulations.Verify addresses and contact information.Perform data entry to keep spreadsheets updated based on department processes and requirements.Scan equipment requests for the branches and departments.Enter and scan inspection updates as needed.Enter equipment moves into the FMS database.Update the yard equipment report.Create purchase orders (POs).Take meeting minutes and distribute them to team members.Work with staff from other departments as needed to resolve issues.Greet visitors and applicants at the front lobby and escort them to/from meetings as necessary.Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, and scheduling appointments.Essential SkillsProficiency in administrative support, data entry, and clerical tasks.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.Highly detail-oriented with excellent tracking and organizing abilities.Experience in construction or fleet/trucking is a plus.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational skills.Detail-oriented.Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment, working alongside other employees from the fleet and mechanic departments. This role provides an opportunity for growth within the company, with the potential to become a long-term employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
