Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Spokane, Washington. This role is in the Defined Benefit Pension industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who has a good understanding of DB Pension processes and anomalies. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly adapt to our team environment and manage a team of 2 to 3 individuals. Responsibilities: • Oversee a small team and ensure efficient workflow • Handle client service inquiries related to Defined Benefit Pension • Accurately calculate and process pension contributions • Maintain a high level of customer service • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Office 365 for administrative tasks • Administer COBRA related tasks as necessary • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Defined Benefit Pension anomalies • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with a proven ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets. • Experience in Cobra Administration is necessary, with a demonstrated ability to handle related tasks efficiently. • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively interact with team members and clients. • Exceptional organizational skills are needed to manage numerous tasks and responsibilities simultaneously. • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is vital. • Experience in a similar administrative role is required, showcasing the ability to perform administrative tasks efficiently. • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to promptly address any issues or obstacles that may arise. • The capacity to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential. • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team is necessary. • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is desirable. • Excellent customer service skills are required to effectively handle client inquiries and maintain client relationships. • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure the accuracy of work.
