Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the non-profit industry, located in San Diego, California. The position we're looking to fill is for an Administrative Assistant. As part of our team, you'll be tasked with a variety of administrative duties, including customer service and data management. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records • Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service • Manage email correspondence with accuracy and professionalism • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint to complete tasks • Schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively • Perform various office tasks, such as filing and faxing • Ensure the smooth running of the office on a daily basis. Requirements • The candidate should have experience in handling inbound calls, showcasing excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented phone etiquette. • A strong background in customer service is required, emphasizing empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in data entry is necessary, with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Experience in email correspondence is critical, including drafting, sending, and organizing emails. • The ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls efficiently is required, showcasing multitasking skills and an ability to prioritize tasks. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed, including creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and understanding data visualization. • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is essential, including managing emails, schedules, contacts, and task lists. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is necessary, including creating, editing, and presenting detail-oriented presentations. • Mastery of Microsoft Word is required, including creating, editing, and formatting documents. • Experience in scheduling appointments is crucial, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
