Description We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our office located in Columbia, Maryland, United States. The role involves various administrative and clerical duties in a dynamic work environment. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Answering inbound and outbound calls in a detail oriented manner • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external visitors • Handling data entry tasks and email correspondence efficiently • Scanning and organizing documents systematically • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for various tasks • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars • Distributing mail to the appropriate recipients promptly • Processing office expenses accurately and timely • Ensuring reliability and the ability to work independently. Requirements • The candidate should have the ability to manage inbound calls effectively, addressing queries promptly and in a detail-oriented manner. • Strong customer service skills are necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained. • Proficiency in data entry is required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. • Excellent email correspondence skills are essential, with the ability to draft, edit, and send detail-oriented emails. • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls is a must, demonstrating excellent communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data. • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is needed for managing emails, schedules, and contacts. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is essential for creating, editing, and presenting detail-oriented presentations. • The candidate must be able to use Microsoft Word effectively for drafting documents, reports, and letters. • The ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently, managing multiple calendars if necessary.
