Administrative Assistant

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, United States. In this role, you will be extensively involved in the coordination and execution of administrative tasks, customer service, and logistics management.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service.
• Accurately enter and manage data related to inventory, sales orders, and manufacturing orders for multiple plants.
• Coordinate logistics for all shipments, including preparing necessary paperwork such as SLI’s, Commercial Invoices, COC’S, and COO’s.
• Regularly update customers about their order status and provide them with product documentation as required.
• Maintain an organized record of samples, send them out as needed, and coordinate testing with labs.
• Preview test reports and identify any potential issues.
• Provide backup support for team members and work closely with the Quality Control department.
• Manage email correspondence professionally and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for various administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality customer service.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in email correspondence, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound call handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email, calendar, and task management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating and delivering presentations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing.
• Ability to efficiently schedule appointments, managing multiple calendars if necessary. TalentMatch®
