Administrative Assistant
Description Robert Half is currently seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the team of a valued nonprofit client. Key Responsibilities: + Provide general administrative support, including managing schedules, responding to emails, and organizing meetings. + Coordinate and maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments for team members and executives. + Assist with preparing and editing correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents. + Manage office operations, including supply inventory, vendor coordination, and equipment maintenance. + Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and welcoming manner. + Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, ensuring accurate record-keeping and confidentiality. + Assist in planning and executing events, fundraisers, or volunteer activities. + Provide support for onboarding new staff or volunteers, ensuring an organized and positive process. Requirements + Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization or mission-driven environment. + Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with database systems or donor management software is a plus. + Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, donors, and stakeholders. + Team-Oriented: Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals. + Problem-Solving: Resourceful and proactive in identifying ways to streamline processes or improve efficiency. Preferred Skills: + Familiarity with nonprofit operations, grant writing support, or fundraising platforms. + Experience in providing direct support to leadership or supporting board-related activities.
