Job Description
The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support for the National Accounts department. Our goal is to continuously grow the revenues of National Accounts while maintaining profits, satisfying customer requirements, and ensuring compliance with NFPA guidelines. This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with a focus on administration, organization, reporting, data management, and customer service.
ResponsibilitiesProvide clerical support to the National Accounts Manager.Extensive use of spreadsheets for compiling data.Maintain contract warranty sites.Provide customers with Certificate of Insurance renewals.Provide back up support to the billing associates.Update customer sites.Provide weekly and monthly reports.Provide back up support to the receptionist for the switchboard, during breaks and on call overflow.Provide back up support to the mailroom/UPS.Essential SkillsAdministrative supportData entryAdministrationAdministrative assistanceMicrosoft Office, including strong-intermediate Excel skills with v-lookups and Pivot tablesAttention to detail3+ years of previous Administrative Assistant or related office experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience in the construction industry is a plusSignificant experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely resultsBuilding positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and managementDemonstrating integrity and professionalismCommitment to company valuesExcellent organizational skillsAbility to follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform basic business mathematical functionsAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCompliance with all operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programsWork Environment
This role is based in the office within the National Accounts department. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The position involves regular use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and requires professional interaction with various levels of employees and customers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
