Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Houston, Texas. This role is primarily based in an office environment and involves a range of administrative tasks, including managing communications, coordinating events, and maintaining records. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage inbound and outbound calls, as well as email correspondence, to ensure smooth communication. • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events, while keeping the team/executive calendars updated. • Handle data entry tasks and maintain precise records of communications and transactions. • Manage office supplies and inventory, and liaise with vendors for office services. • Act as a point of contact between staff, clients, and external stakeholders, facilitating timely communication. • Provide administrative support for team projects, including the preparation of materials and presentations. • Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, to complete tasks and projects. • Manage phone calls and filing systems as part of general administrative tasks. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls promptly and with detail orientation. • Strong customer service skills, able to handle queries and complaints effectively. • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent email correspondence skills, able to communicate effectively in a detail-oriented manner. • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet creation, data manipulation, and reporting. • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for email management, scheduling, and task organization. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating visually appealing and informative presentations. • Familiarity with Microsoft Word for document creation, editing, and formatting. • Proven ability to schedule appointments effectively, managing time and resources efficiently.
